Rural Vale Project

The Rural Vale project aims to establish new youth clubs and groups to suit the needs of communities in the Vale of Glamorgan. The clubs established will receive support but will ultimately become volunteer-run projects.

This project aims to work across the Vale in all areas except Penarth, Llandough and Barry, focusing on areas where young people are often isolated due to the geography in which they live.

The project has received funding from Creative Rural Communities. The first of these clubs opens in St Athan on October 1st and is open to young people in years 6-9. We are currently looking to recruit local volunteers to assist in the clubs. If you are interested please contact grant@bgc.wales
