Welcome to the December edition of the BGC Wales E-Newsletter. It has been a really busy month with the World Cup project and all the BGC Wales sports teams undertaking activity. It is great to see so many young people involved and excelling at sport. We are also pleased to see the plans for a girls U16s Rugby team that will launch in 2023. There is so much to read in this E-Newsletter, particularly some support for our member youth clubs as well as news of a new staff member who has joined us.

Our sports teams continue to be extremely busy this month, with our Pool Competition, Welsh Boxing Championships and the first Rugby game of the season. Whilst we were busy preparing for the U15 football teams to go to the USA, our CEO visited colleagues in North Wales and attended events hosted by STAND NW.

Members of BGC Wales staff team were delighted to take part in the best practice visit in Salt. Over a few days youth workers from across Europe shared their experiences and practice and attended conferences with various local organisations who assist in the Safeguarding of young people.
