WELSH/GERMAN EXCHANGE 2023

Firstly, we would like to officially thank our amazing partners from SportKreisJungend Rems Murr for hosting us this year in Germany. Your continued support is greatly appreciated by all of us at BGC Wales.

Having set off from The Lodge, our minibus convoy travelled to Folkestone before taking the Eurotunnel to France for our first night. This is the first time our Welsh group had travelled to Germany via minibus and was a great opportunity for the Welsh participants to get to know each other during the journey. The following day we set off to Germany, where we received a very warm welcome from our hosts.

Our 12 days were jam packed with activities and workshops. The group took part in a variety of activities ranging from team games, water skiing, high ropes, city visits, and cultural workshops. It's safe to say that there was never a dull moment.

This year was also particularly poignant as we recognised the sacrifices and actions of those who are no longer with us both in Germany and in France.
